MHD Gases, Chemicals & Medical Equipment Division is the pioneer in the manufacture of Industrial and fuel gases in the Sultanate of Oman operating one of the largest Oxygen/Nitrogen, Carbon-dioxide & Acetylene plants. The plants are designed based on the latest technology to provide quality products and service of the highest achievable standard and are playing a key role in the national objective of self-reliance.

The division is also the largest distributor for Liquefied Petroleum Gas - Butane and Propane. The plant has adequate facilities and related equipment for on site storage and transportation. The trading section offers a wide range of other gases viz Argon, Chlorine, new generation refrigerants R-134A, 404A, 407C, R-11, R-12/22 & 502, Ammonia and ultra high purity gases, instrument gases from Linde Gas UK for industries, laboratories and research applications.

This division is an exclusive distributor for Murex Welding Products Ltd, UK and CFA, Italy for weilding equipment and consumables.

The stringent quality control and strict adherence to international standards has won this division the ISO 9002 accreditation in 1996.
