Need to know why they need to learn something.

 Need to learn experientially.

Approach learning as problem solving.

Learn best when the topic is of immediate value

The goal for any trainer is to present effective training. This is especially true in a Workshop where time is short and technical people are quickly turned off by ineffective training.
In House learning theory makes two points over and over about effective training design. The material should be practical and the training should be active


Vocational training plays an important role in preparing and qualifying citizens to meet the State requirements for a qualified national labor force in various vocational and technical areas.

To achieve this goal, the ministry of manpower represented by the directorate general of vocational training has developed vocational training programmes which keep abreast of the requirements of the Omani labor market for a skilled and semi skilled national workforce
The Omani private sector was provided with the opportunity to contribute to such training programmes in an endeavor to mingle between training and work, to ensure that the graduates are qualified technically and vocationally, so they can play a considerable role in increasing efficiency and productivity in the various economic sectors to boost the national development in the country


National funded program

The government has accorded Special attention to the vocational training centers which were expanded and developed to cater for more Omani youth and continue providing the labor market with a qualified and well trained national labor force.

Employment of trainees:
The vocational training centers endeavor to employee trainees who successfully complete the training courses designed in coordination with the concerned authorities.

Follow up the graduates:
The centers` role is not only confined to the attempt to provide the graduates with job opportunities, but also to follow up the graduates and work towards solving any problems that may face them.

Various activities:
The trainees and the administrative and training staff carry out several cultural, social and entertainment activities with the aim of enhancing interaction and contacts with the local community.
